Look at what you could have won!  Firework cakes from this morning - no recipe as such, just a simple vanilla sponge mix (3 eggs) with a rolo or two hidden about half-way down and then buttercream with cocoa and popping candy stirred in (only the refined palates could discern this apparently - that's what Kelly said anyway, explaining why she had the popping sensation in her mouth!) with chocolate stars (Sainsbury's), coloured sugar and edible glitter (Sugar Store in Westfield) sprinkled liberally over the top!
